The mother of two children who died as she was endeavoring to manufacture drugs was sentenced on one of the counts she faced Tuesday.
Nichola Michelle Frasier, 32, was sentenced to a 20-year suspended sentence by district judge Joe Enos.
Frasier will serve 10 years in jail and 10 years on probation. She will also have to pay a $2,500 fine.
Frasier pled guilty on Sept. 11 to endeavoring to manufacture methamphetamine. She is set to go to trial over the other charge, felony child neglect, in February 2010.
The charges stem from a Jan. 5 house fire that claimed the lives of three people, including Frasier’s two children.
The fire allegedly started while Frasier was shopping to procure materials to make methamphetamines.
