Ardmore High School National Honor Society members will host an Oklahoma Blood Institute blood drive on Sept. 8, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the high school’s home economics room. All healthy Ardmore area residents, ages 17 and older, are encouraged to support the group’s efforts as well as helping maintain the community’s critical need for blood.

Donors will receive fresh baked cookies. To mark the beginning of football season, OBI will offer free OU crimson or OSU orange T-shirts for all who donate.

To make an appointment in advance to donate, call (800) OBI-GIVE or schedule online at www.obi.org.
