The Annual Trinity Baptist 4th of July Breakfast honoring all area military veterans will start at 8 a.m. Saturday. The breakfast is free and all branches of the military will be honored with special music, including a special piano tribute to the theme, songs and a guest speaker.
At 6 p.m. Saturday, the annual TBC Ice Cream, Music and Fireworks Fellowship will start at the Kemp home on Prairie Valley Road.
Vacation Bible School begins Monday. VBS will conclude with a special Family Night at 7 p.m. on July 10.
The monthly Men’s Prayer Breakfast will be at 8 a.m. July 11 in the Fellowship Hall.
Angel Food ordering will be from 9 a.m. to noon July 11. Ordering is in the church office located across the street south of the main building.
The 18 members of TBC who traveled to Malawi, Africa, on a mission trip have returned. Associate Pastor Jimmy May led the team. A total of 13 churches have been started by the teams led by May. TBC of Malymble Village was begun in 2007 and this year started a mission church in the Chachewno Village.
Trinity Baptist youth also return today from a week at the Falls Creek Baptist Assembly south of Davis. TBC officials said Falls Creek is the largest youth camp in the nation and has the biggest rope course in America. More than 100 churches attend each of the eight-week sessions.
Sunday activities start with Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. with classes for all age groups. Adult classes include co-ed, as well as classes specifically designed for men and women.
Sunday morning services begin at 10:50 a.m. Extended care for preschoolers is offered during the service. Church Training begins at 6 p.m. and offers special classes for adults and RAs and GAs, for boys and girls in grades first through fifth, as well as Music Makers for pre-schoolers and Youth Bible class.
