Ardmore Little Theatre presents its second play of the 2009-10 season with Del Shores’ rousing comedy, “Daddy’s Dyin’ Who’s Got The Will.”

Directed by Joh Mann, the show dates are Nov. 12-15 on the Charles B. Goddard Center stage.

“This show is a funny and bittersweet story about a family that has come together because the family patriarch is dying,” Mann said. “The dysfunction runs deep, as does the humor — just like in a real family. The characters are beautifully played and the story is one of family relationship at a time of stress and deep love. The humor is from the oddities of the characters and the awkwardness of the family reunion after so many years of distance and living separate lives.”

The cast includes John Pryor as the patriarch, Buford; Carmel Jones as Mama Wheelis; Brian Alexander as Harmony; Taloa Alexander as Evalita; Lisa Cowan as Sara Lee; Gina Quarya Lurlene; Randy Simmons as Orville; and Chelsea Simmons as Marlene.

The ticket office for the show will open for reservations on Nov. 6 for ALT members and on Nov. 9 for non-members. Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for students. Season memberships for ALT are still available. To ask questions, call (580) 223-6387.
