Joy Buchanan, an IBC Bank employee, donates blood Monday at the Southern Oklahoma Blood Institute. Buchanan’s son, David, is a soldier serving in Iraq and will be stationed at Fort Hood, Texas, after he returns to the United States. Buchanan decided to donate blood in honor of all American troops after the shooting at the Army base last week. IBC Bank has scheduled a blood drive on Dec. 28 at its 12th Avenue N.W. location.
