Six students at Ardmore High School have earned AP Scholar Awards in recognition of their exceptional achievement on AP Exams during the 2008-09 school year.
Robin Tipps qualified for the AP Scholar with Distinction Award by earning an average grade of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and receiving grades of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams. Tipps is a 2009 graduate and is currently attending the University of Oklahoma.
Rachel Simpson qualified for the AP Scholar with Honor Award by earning an average grade of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken and grades of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams.
Simpson is also a 2009 graduate and attends the University of Oklahoma.
Four students qualified for the AP Scholar Award by completing three or more exams with grades of 3 or higher.
The AP Scholars are Amanda Ack, Kristin Dao, Taylor Dees and Yicheng Zhang. Dees and Zhang are both 2009 graduates and currently attend the University of Oklahoma.
Ack and Dao are current seniors.
