Oklahoma City, OK —

For girls interested in building robots out of LEGOs, riding horses, experiencing high adventure on a ROPES course, or honing sports skills, Girl Scouts-Western Oklahoma has the summer camp session for them.

There is still time to enroll in many summer resident camp sessions planned this month at Camp E-Ko-Wah, located near Marlow. Bus transportation to and from the camp will be available. The bus will leave the GS-West headquarters in Oklahoma City for each camp session.

The cost for sessions at Camp E-Ko-Wah begins at $85. Girls who are not Girl Scouts can pay an additional $10 at registration to become a Girl Scout and attend resident camp.

Space is still available for these sessions:

July 13-15: Brownie “Once Upon A Time” fairy tale session

July 13-18: High Adventure ROPES Course

July 20-22: Brownie “It’s a Small World” session

July 20-25: Robotics, Level II Horses, Level III Horses, Outdoor Skills

July 27-31: Brownie Sports, Cadette and Senior High Adventure

For details on each session, including a synopsis of what the sessions will include and cost for each session, visit the GS-West Web site at www.gswestok.org  and click on “Outdoor Education” and then “Camp E-Ko-Wah” for more information and online registration.
