Johnson named OK Homecoming Queen

LaShyra Johnson, the daughter of Darlene Roberts, Ardmore, was named the 28th annual Oklahoma’s Homecoming Queen. She will represent the state of Oklahoma and is the Ardmore High School homecoming queen.

Oklahoma’s Homecoming Queen will receive a cash scholarship plus an all-expense-paid trip to compete with queens from other states for the title of America’s Homecoming Queen, to be selected on Aug. 6 in the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, Calif.

America’s Homecoming Queen will receive a cash scholarship and other prizes.

America’s Homecoming Queen is a nonprofit organization that promotes education, educational travel and community service for high school homecoming queens in all 50 states.
