Plainview high school senior Kory Atcuson recently joined an exclusive group of seniors across the state chosen to receive scholarships and attend the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma this fall in Chickasha.
The university awarded multiple types of scholarships, from academic to art talent and from athletic to music, to high school seniors throughout Oklahoma.
Nancy Moats, director of financial aid, said this year’s scholarship recipients display high levels of academic and leadership skills.
Atcuson received a Regents Baccalaureate scholarship. He is the son of Sheri and Stephan Hutchins and Jimmy Atcuson.
