Mekenzi Ann Jean and Brad Lee Love are engaged to be married on Oct. 16, 2009, in Birdsong Wedding Cottage.
The future bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Allen and Greg Jean, all of Ardmore. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Jean, Healdton; and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Newman.
She graduated from Plainview High School in 2005. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant. She is employed as a first-grade teacher with Franklin Elementary, Ardmore.
Her fiance is the son of Shelia Sims, Lone Grove; and the late Teddy Love. He is the grandson of the late Ted Love; the late Hershel Ashley; and Mary Ann Ashley, Ardmore.
He attended Ardmore High School and graduated from First Coast Academy in 2004. He obtained his associate degree in English from Murray State College in Ada. He is employed with Best Buy Distribution Center.
