Mr. and Mrs. Fred L. Martin II, Ardmore, announce the engagement of their daughter, Samantha, to Brent Simmons, the son of Randy Simmons and Donna Blundell, both of Ardmore.
The couple plan to be married on Oct. 31, 2009, in the Ardmore First Presbyterian Church.
The future bride graduated from Ardmore High School in 2005 and is a student at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond.
She is employed by BVA — Better Vision Ahead Advanced Eye Care in Edmond.
Her fiancé graduated from Dickson High School in 2003 and entered the United States Navy after graduation. He was stationed at NAS Lemoore in California assigned to the USS Abraham Lincoln. He was honorably discharged in 2007 as an E4 Petty Officer 3rd Class.
He is a student at UCO in Edmond, where he is employed by Lowe’s.
