Ardmore native Elizabeth Leigh “Izzy” Wilkinson and John Hudson Norman Jr. are engaged to be married on Aug. 14, 2010, at the Snowbowl ski area in Missoula, Mont.
The future bride is the daughter of Scharmagne and Saad M. Hineidi, Dallas; Charles Tucker and Trisha Wilkinson, both of Ardmore. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Niles Winter, Ardmore; and the late Mr. and Mrs. Shockney Baird Wilkinson.
She graduated from Ardmore High School in 2000. She obtained her bachelor of arts degree in psychology from the University of Texas in Austin, in 2004. She is currently at the University of Montana obtaining a master’s degree in mental health counseling.
Her fiance is the son of The Honorable Judge Mary “KK” Norman and husband Dr. James C. Lorbeck, New Orleans, La.; and Mr. and Mrs. John H. Norman, Huntsville, Ala. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Madison Kite; and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Briant Norman, New Orleans.
He graduated from Jesuit High School in New Orleans in 1992 and attended the University of New Orleans. He is a nationally accredited personal trainer who owns a studio in Missoula.
