Dr. and Mrs. Robert A. Gonzales, Ardmore, announce the engagement of their daughter, Shannon Leigh, to Daryl Richard Steele, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Danny Steele, Ardmore.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfonso Gonzales, and Donna Sanger, all of Ardmore; and the late Donald Sanger.
She is an Ardmore High School graduate and received her bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Oklahoma in Norman. She is employed with Brown Marketing and Advertising in Ardmore.
Steele is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. George Steele; and the late Mr. and Mrs. R.D. Patrick.
He graduated from Plainview High School and received his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and his master’s degree in human resources and administration from East Central University in Ada. He is employed by the Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation in Ardmore.
The couple will be married on Sept. 20, 2008, in Ardmore at the Steele family ranch.
