Nani Danielle Carter and Blake Preston Parsons are engaged to be married on Dec. 19, 2009, in the First Presbyterian Church, Ardmore.
The future bride is the daughter of Les Carter and Patricia Collichio, both of Stilwell. Her grandparents are Nina Carter, Gore; the late Willard Carter; and the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Collichio.
She graduated from Stilwell High School and received her bachelor of science degree in zoology/biomedical sciences from the University of Oklahoma. She is currently in her final year of the Physician Assistant program at the University of North Texas Health Sciences Center, Fort Worth, Texas.
Her fiance is the son of Dr. and Mrs. William Parsons, Ardmore. His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Jack Lewis, Ardmore; and the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Parsons.
He graduated from Ardmore High School and received his bachelor of science degree in cell molecular biology from Oklahoma State University. He is currently in his third year of medical school at the University of North Texas Health Sciences Center.
