Mr. and Mrs. Doug McBeth Jr., Madill, announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley, to Derrik Eddings, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Eddings, Mannsville.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Doug McBeth Sr., Madill; Mr. and Mrs. Red Garrett, McMillian; Dora Gray, Madill; and the late Dan Gray.
She graduated from Madill High School and is currently employed at Fran Drummond Day Care.
Her fiance is the grandson of Jean Eddings, Russett; the late Don Eddings; Mr. and Mrs. Arlie Barthel, Denison, Texas; and the late Linda Hepler. His living great-grandmothers are Pauline Beckham, Mannsville; and Linda Barthel, Ardmore.
He graduated from Madill High School and is currently employed at EJIW at the Ardmore Air Park. He is also a fireman with the Mannsville Fire Department.
The couple plan to be married on Nov. 14, 2009, at the Madill First Baptist Church.
