Mr. and Mrs. Jack Murphy, Ardmore, announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Michelle, to Joshua Daniel Custar, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donny Custar, Ardmore.
The future bride graduated from Plainview High School and is currently a student at Murray State College in Tishomingo, pursuing a degree in elementary education. She is employed by El Chico as a server, caterer and trainer.
Her fiance graduated from Ardmore High School, attended Oklahoma Baptist University and is currently a student at Murray State College. He is employed by Shrader Insulation and Electric in Ardmore.
They plan to be married Oct. 11, 2008, in Ardmore’s Emmanuel Baptist Church.
