Saturday at The Charles B. Goddard Center, The Ardmore Young Professionals Organization will present “A Night at the Museum.” All proceeds will be donated to the Goddard Center’s Arts in Education program.
This program gives children in the community an opportunity to be exposed to and participate in art.
The Goddard Center has temporarily provided an art teacher to each third-grade class at Charles Evans Elementary for one hour a week, which has brought out the artistic ability in many of the students.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Saturday for children and their families to view the art exhibit by Jesus Moroles. Then, “A Night at the Museum” will be shown from 6 to 8 p.m. Popcorn and lemonade will be provided.
Tickets are on sale at the Ardmore Chamber of Commerce. The cost is $10 for the entire family, or $5 for AYPO members. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
