Ardmore, OK —

As if Bret Michaels weren’t enough of a draw, Aubry Harris has signed up some added attractions for next weekend’s “Rock of Love Tour 2008.”

Ambre Lake, winner of Michaels’ “Rock of Love 2” reality series, will be in Ardmore, along with fellow season two competitor Catherine Brown.

Plus, filming has begun on “Rock of Love Bus,” season three of the series and the “love bus” will come through Ardmore on its cross-country tour.

“They started filming  in Houston and will be filming for the next month or so, and Ardmore is going to be one of the stops on the tour,” Harris said. “And we booked Ambre and Catherine in on top of Bret Michaels to enhance the ‘Rock of Love’ experience. They are both really enthusiastic about coming.”

On Sept. 12, the events start with the “Rock of Love” contest from 6 to 8 p.m. at Toyota of Ardmore with Lake and Brown acting as celebrity judges.

Contestants can stop by Toyota of Ardmore and CableONE in Ardmore or the Ink Spot in Lone Grove to get a sign-up form. Then, they will go to KTRX to turn in the forms and have their photos taken for the contest.

All contestants will be judged by Lake and Brown and finalists will get VIP tickets to the Bret Michaels “Rock of Love 2” concert.

Those interested can call (580) 226-0421 for contest details.

At 10 p.m. on Sept. 12, the Bret Michaels “Rock of Love” pre-party will kick off at Two Frogs Grill. Members of the Bret Michaels Band will attend, along with Lake and Brown, who will sign autographs and act as hosts of the event.

The band Metal Shop will entertain for the crowd that night. Tickets for the pre-party are $20.
The big event — the Bret Michaels “Rock of Love 2” concert starts at 6 p.m. on Sept. 13 at Heritage Hall, with special guests Eric Sardinas and Big Motor, and performances by Jonathan Tyler & Northern Lights.

Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are still available for the concert at $40 by calling (580) 226-3764 or online at www.okctickets.com.
