Ringling is celebrating Independence Day a bit early.
The first annual Ringling Community Independence Day Celebration will be 7 p.m. Friday at the Ringling Little League field.
Numerous gospel groups will perform before dark, with the fireworks display beginning at sundown. There will be a concession stand available at the celebration.
