The Sisters Morales Trio will perform Christmas music in Central Park prior to the tree lighting ceremony at 5:45 p.m. on Dec. 1.
The performance is being sponsored by the Ardmore Chamber of Commerce, the Ardmore Main Street Authority and the Springhill Suites by Marriott.
In what has become an Ardmore tradition, following the Parade of Lights, the group will appear in concert at the Charles B. Goddard Center for the Performing Arts at 8 p.m. General admission tickets for the performance are available at the Ardmore Chamber of Commerce, 410 W. Main, for $10 each.
“The best music knows no boundaries, transcends borders and genres and mixes, matches and melds styles into something all an artist’s own. Doing just that comes naturally to Sisters Morales,” said Lance Cowan of LC Media. “A veritable spectrum of sounds and styles can be heard in the music created by Lisa and Roberta Morales and their longtime multi-guitar cohort David Spencer.”
Cowan said the trio’s music is rooted in the Southwestern spirit of Texas, Arizona and Mexico, and their musical influences range from The Beatles and Buffalo Springfield to Frank Sinatra and Johnny Cash.
