The time for the November Carter County Federation of Democratic Women meeting has been changed from noon to 6 p.m. to accommodate a guest speaker, Jessica Pfau. The meeting will be held at Luigi’s Italian Restaurant at 1225 N. Washington St., Ardmore. Pfau, executive director of Ardmore Village, will share the latest information on health care reform.
The Carter County Federation of Democratic Women support Democratic leaders, locally, statewide and nationally while participating in activities at the local grass roots level. The group meets monthly to discuss current events and strategies enabling the members to meet the club goals.
The meeting is open to anyone interested in learning more about political issues during the coming year.
