Club Notes: Multiple Sclerosis

Ardmore’s Area Mul­tiple Sclerosis meeting will start at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Adult Day Services of Southern Oklahoma, 1902 Shenandoah St.


March is National Mul­tiple Sclerosis Awareness Month, and to kick off this month, special guest Mayor Martin Dyer will make a presentation.


Also, Ardmore neurolo­gist Dr. Baha Abu-Esheh will be the guest speaker. Abu-Esheh is informative, as well as caring, support­ive and encouraging to the Area Multiple Sclerosis group.


Everyone is invited to these meetings on the first Thursday of each month.


The following are events planned in celebration of MS Awareness month:


March 8
— “Monday at the Capitol,” 10 a.m. to noon.


March 12
— Wear orange to show you support MS.


March 23
— “MS Day at the Capitol,” 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., second-floor rotunda.
