Cash and gift certificates will be given away to cap an evening of fundraising by the Enville Volunteer Fire Department on Saturday during a cookout and pie auction.
Scheduled at the Enville Community Church from 5 until 7 p.m., the annual event expresses appreciation to fire district members and residents for support. Hamburgers, hot dogs, drinks and desserts will be provided to those attending. Organizers said a brief board meeting will be held during the evening to elect a new board member.
One dollar donations will be accepted for feature drawing offering special prizes. Topping the list is a $350 gift certificate from Wal-Mart. The second place winner will receive a $150 certificate from Lowe’s with $100 cash going to the third place winner.
Door prize drawings will take place throughout the evening, starting at 5:30 p.m.
