Yellow roses decorated the Baum Assembly of God Church in Dickson for the June 6, 2008, wedding of Abigail Hopkins and Richard Stites. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. M.E. Dickenson with nuptial music provided by Kristin Butler.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Randy Hopkins, and Gary Stites Sr., all of Ardmore; and the late Barbara Stites. Grandparents are Lucille Moore, Ardmore; the late Haskell Moore; the late Billie Jean Hopkins; Dewey Hopkins, Choctaw; the late Mr. and Mrs. Freddie Stites; and the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kannely.
The bride wore a satin, halter gown with an A-line pick-up skirt and chapel train.
Honor attendants were Cindy Stinson and Justin Sewell, both of Ardmore.
Other members of the wedding party were Kristin Butler, Jeremy Rainer and Gary Stiter Jr. Ardmore; Kara Cavitt, Marietta;, Halley and Kathern Stewart; Sam Stinson; Haley and Hunter Reames; and Jason and B.J. Stinson.
The couple took a trip to Walt Disney World, Orlando, Fla. They live in Ardmore.
