The gardens of the Dresser Mansion in Tulsa were in full bloom for the July 4, 2008, wedding of Jessica Pruitt and Adonis Brewer. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Jeremy Sanders, and nuptial music was a recording of “Con Te Partiro” by Andrea Bocelli.
Parents of the couple are Ann Williams and Kenny Pruitt, both of Ardmore; and Laurine Brewer and Charles Brewer, both of Oklahoma City.
Grandparents are Jack Williams and Mary Pruitt,, Ardmore; the late Polly Williams; the late Dan Pruitt; Ruth Fabel, Appleton, Wis.; the late Don Fabel; Lena Brewer, Oklahoma City; and the late Charles Brewer Sr.
The bride wore a gown of ivory silk with a plunging V-back accented with an antique pearl brooch and her grandmother’s pearls.
Honor attendants were Mary Ann Osko, Norman; and Jason Sampson, Oklahoma City.
Other members of the wedding party were Maggie Hill, Candice Hughes, Daphne Camancho, Laura Beth Stacy, Bailey Garner, Isis Brewer, John Paul Clark, Jose Rodriguez, Russell Burnham and Joe Mack.
The couple took a trip to New York City and the Hamptons. They live in Tulsa.
