Funeral services for Linda K. Mitchell, 69, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Pastor Manny Cantu and the Rev. Donny Custar officiating. Interment will follow at Provence Cemetery. The family will host a visitation from 6-7 p.m. this evening at Craddock Funeral Home.
Linda was born Oct. 2, 1947, in Ft. Worth, Texas, to Bill and Opal (Roberts) Roy. She passed this life on Jan. 9, 2017, in an Ardmore hospital. She and Greg Mitchell were married May 13, 1967, in Lone Grove. Linda was a graduate of Dickson High School. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years in the family business, The Kar Hut.
She is survived by her husband, Greg of the home; children, Traci Lemley and her husband, Craig of Sulphur, Okla., Marci Day and her husband, Rod of Ardmore, and Greg Mitchell and his wife, Heather of Ardmore; grandchildren, Dylan Lemley, Madylan Lemley, Tyler Day and his wife, Hunter, Kerra Day, and Talon Mitchell; brothers, Ronnie Roy of Oakland, Okla., Charlie Roberts of Lone Grove, and Mark Roberts of Madill.
She was preceded in death by her dad, Bill Roy; mom, Opal Roberts; and sister, Bridget Darlene Hill. Serving as pallbearers will be Austin Roberts, Randy Roy, Kris Roy, Jason Yates, Tyler Day, Jason Roberts, Dylan Lemley and Paul Smith.
