From now through Valentine’s Day Champion Public Library is featuring a “Throwback Love Letter Station,” that offers patrons everything but the heartfelt words needed to create an original  love letter or valentine.
Gail Currier, CPL spokesperson, says the throwback station is equipped with a vintage electric typewriter, paper, love letter and valentine decorations and envelopes. Customers are encouraged to use the items to design and write their very own one-of-a-kind notes and missives.
“It’s been very popular,” Currier said, talking about the “Throwback Station.” She added, “It’s been fun to have customers talk and ask about old typewriter, sit down and type a letter and decorate it with hearts and so forth.”
Area residents are encouraged to drop by the CPL and take advantage of the unique way to express sweet sentiments and celebrate the holiday with a handwritten valentine.
