TULSA — Billie Jean (Peeples) Storer, age 91, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2017, at Ardmore. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, March 20, 2017, at Floral Haven Memorial Garden in Tulsa, Okla., with Pastor Amy Cedrone officiating.
Jean was born on March 29, 1925, to Maurice Reed Peeples and Venita Margrette (Hosford) Peeples at Wichita Falls, Texas. She attended and graduated from Wichita Falls High School. Jean married Fred Farmer Storer on Jan. 3, 1978. She was a member of the Tulsa Junior Women’s Club and General Federation of Women’s Club. Jean enjoyed gardening and cross-stitching. She was a member of The First Baptist Church of Ardmore.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred F. Storer; one son, Jon Jordan; and one brother, Maurice Reed Peeples.
Jean is survived by her three children, Fred F. Storer Jr. and wife, Kathy, Jo Stearns and husband, Mike and Sue Cedrone and husband, Jerry; grandchildren, Suzanne Bogle and husband, Tony, Kelly Hine and husband, Kelly, Timothy Storer and wife, Kari, Patrick Storer, Tony Cedrone and wife, Amy, Elisa Henkel and husband, Billy, Jenni Moen and husband, Jeffrey and Jane Castorina; and 16 great-grandchildren.
