Memorial services for Nata Jane McClure, 84, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2017, in St. Philip’s Episcopal Church officiated by Father Mike Stephenson.

Born April 14, 1932, at Ardmore, to the late Lawrence Cleveland Walker and Edith Adelia (Hearn) Walker, Nata grew up here and was a graduate of Ardmore High School, the class of 1949. She and Buddy Gene McClure were married Aug. 16, 1957. They were the parents of two sons, Wayne and Tom. Buddy preceded her in death Oct. 5, 2008.

Nata and her family enjoyed rodeo and she supported her son’s participation in roping. An all sports fan, Nata particularly enjoyed watching ice-skating.

On the first day of spring, March 20, 2017, Nata passed from life to life everlasting. In addition to her husband and parents, two brothers, Leonard and Lyndon Walker and a sister, Kathryn ‘”Jack” Breeding predeceased her.
