With the month of April hitting the midway point, area 2A-3A baseball teams can now start thinking about their district tournaments.

With the month of April hitting the midway point, area 2A-3A baseball teams can now start thinking about their district tournaments.

This past weekend the OSSAA released the pairings for the district tournament, which will be a best two-out-of-three matchup.

The Davis Wolves were handed a tough draw as they will have to travel to play the No. 11 Lindsay Leopards in their district tournament.

Meanwhile, the Kingston Redskins will get to enjoy the comforts of home as they will host the Marietta Indians in their district series.

For the Dickson Comets, they were given a fellow Lake Country Conference foe in the Comanche Indians. DHS will travel to Comanche for the district tournament. These two teams met this past weekend at the LCC tournament, with the Indians winning by a score of 5-3.

In the Class 2A ranks, the Tishomingo Indians will also be on the road for the district tournament as they will take on Coalgate.

As for the Healdton Bulldogs, they will begin their playoff push at Wayne for the District tournament.
