MADILL — Carl Frank Peoples, 65, of Ardmore, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017. He was born on Oct. 4, 1951, in Madill, to the late Carl Edward Peoples and Mittie Ruth Muncrief Peoples. Frank was raised in Oakland and Mannsville, Okla. He graduated in 1969 from Dickson High School and later attended the Murray State Collage in Tishomingo. Frank married Barbara Hokett on Jan. 23, 1970, in Odessa, Texas. He worked for the hospital in Tishomingo from 1969 to 1974 and retired after 25 years from the Noble Foundation in Ardmore. Frank later worked for the Ardmore Sheriff’s Department and Ardmore Public School as Manager of the Noble Stadium. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, shooting his guns and going to McDonalds for coffee. His greatest love was his grandkids.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Frank, Ardmore; daughters,  Shawna Mitchell, Ardmore, and Beverly Scott, Ardmore; bonus sons, Phillip Stringfellow and wife, Kristen, Ardmore, and Matthew Stringfellow and wife, Kat, Ardmore; son-in-law, Brandon Scott, Ardmore; grandchildren, Chace Scott, Londyn Scott, Lance Mitchell and Lillien Mitchell; bonus grandchildren, Abigayle Stringfellow, Emma Stringfellow, Madison Stringfellow, Ryley Stringfellow and Marquelle Hanson; brother, Alfred Peoples and wife, Roanne, Ardmore; sisters, Neita Keith and husband, Kenneth, Ardmore, and Donna Whaley and husband, James, Duncan, Okla.; and numerous special friends.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 22, 2017, at the Watts Memorial Chapel, Madill, Okla. Roy Fountain will officiate the services. Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Okla. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
