In preparation for their upcoming district tournament on Thursday, the No. 6 Turner Lady Falcons challenged themselves Tuesday afternoon.
A step up in competition meant the No. 2 team in Class 4A this season, the Silo Lady Rebels, who won a convincing 11-1 game over the Lady Falcons at Silo.
Jacey Henry got the Lady Falcons off to the perfect start with a solo home run to left field in the top of the first inning.
Unfortunately, that was as good as it got offensively for the Lady Falcons on the day.
Silo scored six runs in the bottom half of the first to take the lead, before added one run in the second and third innings.
The Lady Rebels scored three more runs in the bottom of the sixth to seal the game.
Turner will be at home today hosting its district tournament against Thackerville, Ryan, and Achille High Schools beginning at 10 a.m.
