Memorial services for Pat Smith will be 2 p.m.. Tuesday, June 13, at the Baum Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Buck Buchanan officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be 6-7:30 p.m., Monday evening at Craddock Funeral Home.
Pat was born May 21, 1943, in Ada, Okla.,  to Jessie Edward Lewis and Florene Beaver Lewis. She passed from this life on June 9, 2017, in her home at the age of 74.
Pat graduated from Stratford High School in 1960. She then graduated from ECU in 1965 with a degree in Elementary Education, and continued receiving her Masters in 1972. She married her husband of 31 years, Sam W. Smith on Aug. 21, 1965. He preceded her in death on December 17, 1996.
Pat enjoyed many things including attending church and doing service for the Lord. She has been a long time member of the Baum Assembly of God Church where she served on the Church Board. She enjoyed teaching and working with children. Pat was a school teacher at Dickson Public Schools until 2008. She retired after 42 years of service.
She had four grandchildren which were the pride and joy of her life. Pat enjoyed everything they did and loved to go to band concerts, football games and birthday parties. She was their biggest fan. They truly brought joy to her life and a smile to her face.
Pat is survived by her two daughters, Cindy Stinson and husband, Jason of Ardmore, Okla., Kathy Jones and husband, Mike of Stratford,  Okla.; four grandchildren,  B.J. and Sam Stinson of Ardmore, Okla., Danette Balliett and husband, Nathan of Stratford, Okla., Rachael Jones of Stratford, Okla.; four great-grandchildren,  Brysin, Piper and Mischa Gray and Aurora Balliett of Stratford, Okla.; a sister; Loretta Slagle and husband, Mike of Broken Arrow, Okla.; a brother, Frank Lewis, from Lindsborg, Kan.; a sister- in- law, Suzy Lewis of Oklahoma City, Okla.  
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Florene Lewis; husband, Sam W. Smith; brother,William R. Lewis; two steps sons, Sam W. Smith, Jr. and Paul Smith.
Honorary pallbearers will be B.J. Stinson, Jason Stinson, Sam Stinson, Mike Jones, Mike Slagle, Don Garrison, and Larry “Pooch” Porter.
