Memorial services for Bennye Faye Eggleston will be 2 p.m. Monday, June 19, 2017, at The First Baptist Church with Dr. Alton Fannin officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday afternoon at Craddock Funeral Home.
Bennye was born Dec. 9, 1929, at Electra, Texas, to Bennett Vaught and Lola Faye Seale Vaught. She passed from this life on June 10, 2017, in Ardmore at the age of 87. She and Sterling Eggleston were married April 5, 1946, in Odessa, Texas. She has lived in this area since 1967, previously living in Mancos, Colo. Bennye was an active member of The First Baptist Church until her illness.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Sterling Earl Eggleston II; and a brother, Col. Ralph R. Vaught.
She is survived by her husband, Sterling of the home; daughter, Pamela Ann Ford of Cedar Hills, Texas; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a niece; nephew; and many friends.
