In the opening contest Friday night the Cardinals cruised to a 20-0 run-rule victory over the EE Rangers. Tushka’s Zachary Dill was the winning pitcher on the mound throwing five innings of work allowing just one hit with nine strikeouts.

Dill’s teammate at Tushka Mason Brinkley went 3-for-4 in the contest with two runs scored. Silo’s Hunter Savage was 3-for-4 with a double. Lone Grove’s Garrett Lemons hit a home run in the contest to add to the offense.

In the nightcap on Friday, the Cardinals made it two wins in a row with another run rule decision. Ardmore took down the Fort Smith Sportsmen by a score of 17-3.

Coleman’s Tanner Whitmire threw five innings of work on the mound striking out six batters in the victorious effort.

Whitmire’s CHS teammate Travis Loudermilk was 2-for-3 at the plate with a double and a home run. Brinkley went 3-for-4 in the contest scoring three runs, while Lemons was 2-for-2 at the plate with a double and a triple.

Sunday morning the Cardinals were tested by Tecumseh, but managed to escape with a narrow 4-3 victory.

Rock Creek’s Christian McGowan got the win on the mound, relieving Madill’s Jake McHatton after 1 1/3 innings of work. Silo’s Hunter Ratcliffe was 1-for-2 at the plate with a double and two runs. Brinkley went 2-for-2 in the contest for the Cardinals.

In the finale the Cardinals luck and offense hit a roadblock as the Oklahoma Expos won 12-0.

Next weekend the Ardmore Cardinals will be at the 3 Rivers tournament which will be held in Eufaula.
