Ardmore Police arrested a Texas woman after they found her asleep in her car with meth, alcohol and a minor child in the back seat.
Police responded to a call at 5:45 a.m., Saturday of a woman asleep in her car in an Ardmore motel parking lot.
On arrival, police found Cynthia Lee, 50, of Dickinson, Texas, asleep in her car with a minor child in the back seat. Police found methamphetamine and open alcohol containers in the car.
Lee was not found to be under the influence of any substances when police arrived, said Keith Ingle, public relations officer for Ardmore Police Department.
Lee was arrested and booked into Carter County Jail. She faces charges of felony possession of a controlled dangerous substance and felony child endangerment. Over the weekend her bond was set at $1,000.
