Now that the fast pitch season has officially begun, the real work can begin for area teams.

Now that the fast pitch season has officially begun, the real work can begin for area teams.

Beginning today and Tuesday, multiple area teams will be in action at the Kingston softball festival, while other teams will be facing opposition elsewhere.

Kingston and Ringling will get the proceedings underway this morning at 9 a.m. while RHS will take on Lone Grove at 10:15 a.m.

LGHS will meet the host Lady Redskins at 11:30 a.m., while Turner and Marietta will take on one another at approximately 12:45 p.m.

Marietta will meet Colbert at 2 p.m. with Turner meeting Colbert to finish off the day at 3:15 p.m.

Tuesday will see other teams join the action with Dickson meeting Marietta to begin the day at 9 a.m.

MHS will then play against the Kingston (2) squad at 10:15 a.m., before Dickson meets Colbert at 11:30 a.m.

Colbert will meet the Kingston (2) squad at 12:45 p.m., with Lone Grove meeting Sulphur in a matchup at 2 p.m. with the Lady Horns playing immediately afterwards at 3:15 p.m. against Turner.

Sulphur will then meet Kingston at 4:30 p.m. with Kingston meeting Turner to finish off the festival at 5:45 p.m.

Meanwhile, Ardmore’s Lady Tigers will be back in summer league action Tuesday night at Pauls Valley beginning at 5 p.m., with a home contest scheduled for Wednesday morning against Marietta at 10 a.m.

Ardmore will then travel to Plainview for a contest Thursday night at 5 p.m.

Sulphur and Dickson will also meet up this evening at 6 p.m. from SHS.
