The reigning Class B state runner-up Turner Lady Falcons sent a clear message this weekend as they reeled off five straight victories to win the Calera Tournament.

THS opened with three straight blowout victories, as they defeated Coleman 13-0, followed by a pair of 12-1 victories over Wright City.

Calera provided a stiff challenge for the Lady Falcons, but they managed to win a close 7-5 game.

In the finals, the Tishomingo Lady Indians provided the opposition.

Turner tied the game in the top of the fourth when Hillary Hill laid down a sacrifice bunt, allowing the tying run to score.

Ryleigh Parker played the hero for the Lady Falcons when she scored on an error in the top of the seventh to steal the victory for Turner.

Allí Willis got the win on the mound for the Lady Falcons throwing 6 2/3 innings of work. She allowed one earned run on six hits with two walks and one strikeout.

Turner will be off until Aug. 17.
