This past weekend though, sunshine in the forecast meant plenty of game action at the Murray County Bash, which was co-hosted by Davis and Sulphur. 

Davis (3-2) will be on the road Monday against Wynnewood.

In a low-scoring affair, the Lady Wolves managed to escape their opening round contest against Holdenville, thanks to a walk-off in the bottom of the sixth.

HHS took a 1-0 lead in the top of the fifth inning, before Davis tied the game in the bottom half of the inning when Alexis Ball sent an RBI single to center.

Lynsey Martin then played the hero as her walk-off RBI double to center scored Alex Johnson to win the game for the Lady Wolves in the sixth.

Lauren Son got the win on the mound for Davis, throwing six innings of work. She allowed one run (0 earned) on one hit with one walk and three strikeouts.

Pauls Valley 5 Davis 1

Against the Lady Panthers from Pauls Valley, Davis managed to tie the game at 1-1 in the bottom of the first when Gracie Eggleston hit an RBI single to left.

Pauls Valley took control with a run in the second inning, followed by three in the third.

Lauren Son took the loss on the mound, throwing three innings of work. She allowed five earned runs on 12 hits with two strikeouts.

Kobe Jones through three innings of relief allowing two walks with two strikeouts and two hits for Davis in the game against the Lady Panthers.

The Lady Pirates from Byng struck early and often as the Lady Wolves struggled to produce just two hits in their final game of the tournament.

BHS scored two runs in the first and second innings, before adding one in the third and three in the fourth.

Lauren Son took the loss on the mound, throwing three innings of work. She allowed eight earned runs on 11 hits with three walks and four strikeouts for the Lady Wolves in the contest.
