In Co-hosting the annual Murray County Bash tournament, the Sulphur Lady Bulldogs made their opposition feel right at home, reeling off several victories.

The Lady Bulldogs opened the tournament with a 12-0 victory over Wynnewood, before racing past Lexington 11-1.

On Saturday, the Lady Bulldogs had to fight their way through matches with Pauls Valley and Lindsay.

Sulphur (6-1) will be hosting Madill in district play on Monday beginning at 5 p.m.

Defeat is something the Sulphur Lady Bulldogs haven’t tasted much of this season.

Pauls Valley decided to change the scenario, as they stunned the Lady Bulldogs with a narrow 3-2 victory on Saturday afternoon.

PVHS took a 1-0 lead in the first inning, before doubling the advantage with an RBI double in the second and a sacrifice fly RBI in the third.

Sulphur responded with an RBI single from Macenzie Ruth, before Harley Beesley slapped an RBI single to right field in the fifth.

Beesley took the loss on the mound for Sulphur, throwing three innings of work. She allowed three earned runs on four hits with two strikeouts.

The Lady Bulldogs took out their frustration on the Lady Leopards from Lindsay, winning in a run-rule contest.

Lindsay took an initial 1-0 lead in the top of the first, before Harley Beesley tied the game with an RBI single up the middle in the bottom half of the inning.

Abby Beck registered an RBI groundout to give the Lady Bulldogs the lead.

A fielder’s choice RBI from Makella Mobly made it 3-1, before LHS got a run back in the third with an RBI single.

Sulphur had a response through a two-RBI double from Shallen Mershon, before Beck drew a bases loaded walk which scored Macenzie Ruth to make it 6-2.

Ashley Bivens was then hit by a pitch, allowing Meredith Jones to trot home, before Hailey Keith smashed a grand slam to left field, putting Sulphur up 11-2.

Mershon finished the game off with a walk-off run scored on a wild pitch.

Beesley got the win on the mound for the Lady Bulldogs, throwing four innings of work. She allowed five hits with four walks and two strikeouts.

Revenge was the dish of choice for the Lady Bulldogs as they run-ruled the Lady Panthers from Pauls Valley in the final game of the tournament.

Harley Beesley got the offense going in the top of the first with an RBI single to right, before Abby Beck slapped an RBI double to right field to make it 2-0.

Hailey Keith made it 3-0 with an RBI single.

Shallen Mershon would draw a bases loaded walk in the top of the third which scored Abby Beck, before Ashley Bivens would score following an error on a ground ball hit by Paisley Runyan to make it 5-0.

Mershon and Runyan would later score following an error off a ground ball hit by Beesley.

Runyan would strike again in the top of the fourth when she hit an RBI single to center, before Makella Mobly hit a fielder’s choice RBI to make it 9-0.

Beesley finished the scoring off with two more RBI off a single to center.

Rilee Duck got the win on the mound for the Lady Bulldogs, throwing four innings of work. She allowed just one hit with one walk and one strikeout.
