KHS earned a blowout victory over Rock Creek, but was held in check by Tushka in the second game of a triangular.

The Lady Redskins (5-4) will be at Colbert today.

There was plenty of offense to go around for the Lady Redskins in their opening game against Rock Creek.

Jewell Henery slapped an RBI single to left in the first, putting Kingston on the board.

Dana Wagnon then made it 2-0 with an RBI double, before Taylor Spence made it 3-0 with an RBI single to center.

Mia Millis finished the inning with an RBI single.

In the second inning of the game the Lady Redskins kept applying the pressure.

First, Wagnon was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded, allowing Kes Reeves to score.

Spence then slapped an RBI single, with Torin Brown scoring on a wild pitch to make it 7-0.

Madison Jones made it 9-0 with a two-RBI single to left.

Tyler Bohannon got the Lady Redskins in double digits with an RBI single.

Kingston finished the scoring in the bottom of the third inning.

Henery got the win in the circle, throwing four innings of work. She allowed just two hits with two strikeouts.

Sometimes, softball can be a crazy game.

Despite outhitting Tushka, the Lady Redskins were hindered by four errors in the game, as they dropped their final game of the day.

Tushka got one run in the third and fourth innings.

Taylor Spence took the loss on the mound for Kingston, allowing two runs (0 earned) on two hits with three strikeouts in six innings in the game for Kingston

Kristen McCraw got the win for Tushka, throwing a complete game. She allowed just five hits with three walks and one strikeout for THS in the contest.
