GENE AUTRY — Celebration of Life services for Ervin Deron McGee are at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 26, 2017, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Gene Autry with Pastor Abraham Walton delivering the eulogy. His final resting Place will be in Calvary Cemetery, Gene Autry. Deron was born in Healdton to the parentage of Phyllis Freeman and Gary McGee November 23, 1980. He spent his entire life in Ardmore and Austin, Texas.
Deron graduated from Ardmore High School with the Class of 2001. When in high school he was on the football team. He united with the Baptist Church and was baptized in Austin.
Deron is best remembered for being a comical person. He loved to make people laugh. Deron was very active until he became a victim of renal failure. In addition to having a special love for his nieces, he loved everyone dearly. Deron was called from his earthly home Monday, August 21, 2017, at the young age of 36 years, 8 months, and 21 days.  
He was preceded in death by his oldest sister, Shawntay Murray, December 2, 2016.
Ervin Deron is survived by his father, Ronald McGee, Ardmore; his mother, Phyllis Freeman, Killeen, Texas; four sisters: Chasity McGee, Shaneal McGee, Cleo Murray and Lacresha Murray, and brother, Jason Murray, all of Austin; a brother-in-law, Eric Shaw, Killeen; two nieces, Shawntay McGee and Camile McGee, Ardmore; a paternal grandmother, Evelyn Freeman, Ardmore; maternal grandmother, Shirley Murray, Austin; great uncles, Trenton and Tyler Murray;  and numerous other family and friends.
