Funeral services for Daniel Molina Loera will be 2 p.m., Friday, September 1, 2017, at the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Juan Jimenez officiating. Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery. A Devotion of the Rosary will be Thursday evening from 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Daniel was born January 3, 1948, to Micaela (Loera) and Pablo Molina in Ranch Jesus Maria Matehuala, San Luis Potosi, Mexico. He passed from this life on August 25, 2017, in Ardmore at the age of 69. Daniel came to Ardmore in 1989 and after 7 years he left for Argyle, Texas, where he gave 20 years to training Tennessee Walking Horses and as a ranch hand at Hacienda Mañana Ranch. Two things that he loved most were spending time with family and horses. After being diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2014 he held on strong for his horses as long as he could until 2015, he could not continue and moved back to Ardmore to be close to family. He attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Daniel is survived by his spouse, Maria Dolores Hernandez-Mata; children, Clara Molina, Placido Hernandez, Gelacio Molina, Daniel Molina, Valentin Molina, Jorge Hernandez, Carlos Molina; grandchildren, Claudia Molina, Franscisco Rodriguez, Juan Moreno, Joana Nuñez, Daniela Moreno, James Molina, Jennifer Molina, Maria Molina, Abigail Howell, Daniel Molina, Luis Carlos Molina, Juan Pablo Molina, Micaela Molina, Victor Hernandez, Enrique Hernandez, Karina Marris, Jorge Hernandez, Axel Hernandez, Aaron Hernandez, Maria Molina, Jessica Molina, Carla Molina; 11 great-great-grandchildren all residing in Ardmore, and Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico; and many other family and friends. Pallbearers will be Juan Moreno, Gelacio Molina, Leandro Molina-Loera, Carlos Molina, Daniel Molina and Julio Molina. Online condolences may be made at craddockfuneralhome.com.
