A night at Chevy’s Sports Bar for a 32-year-old woman ended in her suffering several stab wounds, according to Lt. Randy O’Hanlon with Ardmore police.
O’Hanlon said the stabbing victim, 32, confronted her boyfriend when she observed him texting another woman while they were inside the bar together. The 20-year-old woman her boyfriend was texting then arrived outside in the parking lot.
O’Hanlon said the two clashed, and the 32-year-old woman suffered the stab wounds shortly after.
Ardmore police learned about the altercation around 2 a.m. Saturday morning when the woman was admitted to Mercy Hospital for her wounds. When questioned, the woman refused to press charges against her alleged 20-year-old assailant and told police few details about the incident.
But by Sunday, she told police her alleged attacker had began to send her threatening text messages, O’Hanlon said. She then decided to press charges.
Police are still investigating the incident.
