Services for Sherry Ann Mumford Huggins, 40, of Ringling are scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday September 12, 2017 at the Milo Baptist Church in Milo, Okla. with Pastor Mike Johnston and Pastor Chad Barron officiating.  Interment will follow at the Ratliff City Cemetery.
Sherry was born September 6, 1977 in Pauls Valley, Okla. to Thomas and Louise Cowan Mumford. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on her birthday September 6, 2017.
Sherry was raised in Fox and attended and graduated school from there in 1996. Her family was a very well known agricultural family in that area for raising and showing hogs. After graduating from Fox she attended college at ECO in Edmond, Okla. After graduating from college she began her teaching career, would be the start of 16 years of teaching. First being at Fox from 2001 to 2002, then to Oklahoma City  Fillmore from 2003 to 2005, then to Tri-County Coop from 2005 to 2006, she spent 11 years at Zaneis from 2006 to 2017. While at Zaneis she met Mike Huggins. He proposed to her on the playground with all of the Zaneis students being involved releasing balloons when she said yes. They were married May 30, 2015 at the Red River Ranch in Burneyville, Okla, surrounded by a host of family and friends.   Then just beginning of this school year she began at Velma – Alma schools teaching 3rd grade.  Sherry loved her job and loved all of her school kids.  She left a wonderful impression on each and every one of them. They will always remember her beautiful smile and welcoming hugs from her.  She loved evening rides on the gator with her husband on their property in Ringling, she enjoyed decorating and she was gifted with it, she liked refurbishing vintage furniture, she made everything beautiful.  Sherry will be deeply missed by her husband, family, friends and all of her precious students.  She was a member of the Milo Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her Father; Tom Mumford; 2 Brothers; Rick Mumford and Jeffery Mumford; 1 Sister; Lindy Mumford; both Paternal and Maternal grandparents; Rachel and James Taylor Mumford and Hiram and Lora Cowan.
She is survived by her beloved Husband; Mike Huggins of the home. Mother; Louise Mumford of Fox. Sister; Tammy Smith of Fox. Brothers; Jim of Fox, Bob of Graham and Johnny Mumford of Denton, Texas, numerous niece’s, nephews’, great niece’s and nephews’ 
Serving as Pallbearers will be Payton Mumford Dillon Mumford, Cecil Britt, Joe Cowan, Jerry Cheatham, Jack Ferguson. Honorary Bearers are Kenneth Springer, Rob Tidwell, Michael Sanchey, Chandler Roberts, Rhett Roberts and Kaden Barron.
