ARDMORE — A Celebration of Gregory Alan Sullivan’s life will be 2 p.m., Thursday, September 14, 2017, at the Craddock Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Craddock Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery.
Gregory Alan Sullivan was born June 6, 1973, in Ardmore. He passed from this life on September 8, 2017. Greg graduated from Plainview High School in 1991. Upon graduation he enrolled at ECU where he received a Bachelors Degree in History. He then obtained a Masters in English from Oklahoma State University and a Masters in Library Science from the University of Illinois. Greg was employed by Diversified Maintenance at Michelin.
He was married to Carmella Braniger for 20 years, and together raised their daughter Hannah. Greg loved listening to a wide variety of music, cooking, reading, and writing poetry and novels. He was baptized in October, 2015, and rededicated his life at Victory Life Church in Ardmore. Greg had a loving spirit and the ability to see good in everyone, regardless of their life’s circumstances. He had a spot in his heart for everyone and loved spending time with his family and friends and had a tremendous sense of humor. Greg loved to laugh and have fun. He loved deeply and was deeply loved by many. He will be greatly missed.
Greg was preceded in death by his grandparents, Warren and Norma Sullivan, and Jack and Beth Carroll; aunt, Brenda Sullivan; and uncles, Jeff Sullivan, Richard Sullivan, and Kelly Carroll.
He is survived by his mother, Diana Mills and her husband, Fred of Ardmore; father, Mike Sullivan and his wife, Donna; daughter, Hannah Sullivan, and her mother, Carmella Braniger of Decatur, Ill.; brothers, Brian Sullivan and his wife, Stephanie of Norman, Michael Faught and his wife, Amber of Wilson, and Josh Mills and his wife, Corie of Oklahoma City; sister, Marti Baker and her husband, Stacey of Norman; numerous aunts and uncles; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends including Daniel Gomez and all of Greg’s amigos at Diversified Maintenance.
Brian Sullivan, Wyatt Sullivan, Mike Sullivan, Michael Faught, Derrick Harvey, and Rick Davis will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Lance Dvorak, Jasyn Norton and Josh Mills. Online condolences can be made at
