Funeral services for Linda Fay (West) Brown, 68, will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, September 14, 2017, in the Centennial Chapel of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home with the Reverend Bruce Kirby officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
The daughter of the late Lester Marvin West and Lillian Zenida (Kendrick) West, Linda was born on August 10, 1949, in Ardmore and passed away on September 10, 2017, in an Oklahoma City hospital. A resident of Ardmore all of her life, Linda graduated from Plainview High School with the class of 1967. She enjoyed going to the movies, craft shows, gardening and, most of all, spending time with her family. Linda retired in 1998 from Michelin North America, and was of the Baptist faith.
An amazing mother to Shawn, she raised him to be a great man. Linda was a strong, yet sweet, humble woman, that never met a stranger and was of help to all in need.
Survivors include her son, Shawn Muse and companion, Tracy Campbell of the home; and step-daughter, Crystal Muse; grandson, Jaden Muse, granddaughter, Jordan Muse; along with Zane Campbell, Alexis Campbell, Tommi Campbell and Devnee Martin, who she considered to also be her grandchildren; special cousins, Pam Gilmore, Brenda Dabbs, Martha Greenwood, Reta Hunt and Tippy Conatser; and special prayer warrior, Caden Gilmore.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Russell Wayne Muse.
Serving as bearers will be Zane Campbell, Drayden McAfee, Wes Conatser, Trent Conatser, Ray Earheart and Jamie Fore. A time of visitation and support for family and friends will be from 6-7 p.m., Wednesday evening at Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to the family online at
