Funeral service for Vonda “Crickette” Bradley,  50, Lawton, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 6, 2017, in Howard-Harris Funeral Services Chapel,1005 SW “C” Ave., Lawton, with the Rev. Rickey McGhee officiating.
Vonda Roshelle Shannon Bradley departed this life Thursday, Sept. 21, 2017, in Lawton.
Vonda Roshelle Shannon entered this life Jan. 25, 1967, as a precious gift from God to Riva Maxine Shannon and Thomas Davenport in Ardmore. Vonda attended Gram Elementary school in Milo, Okla., and graduated in 1985 from Fox High School in Tatum, Okla. Vonda accepted Jesus Christ early in life and was baptized at St Paul Baptist Church in Milo. After graduating from high school, Vonda moved to Lawton, in the mid 80s. Vonda worked as a housekeeper for many years in Fort Sill, before marrying Reginald Bradley in 1992. Out of that wonderful union they had one lovely daughter, Regina Maxine Bradley.
Vonda, better known as “Crickette” loved to cook and invite friends and family over to eat her delicious meals. She was very kind, friendly and loved by many people. Crickette will always be remembered for being a very compassionate and caring daughter, a supportive sister, a very devoted mother, as well as a niece, a cousin and a friend.
Survivors include her daughter, Regina Maxine Bradley, of Lawton; her father, Thomas Davenport and his wife Ruth Davenport, of Ardmore; Aunt Yvonne “Von” Abram, and Aunt Nellie May Murray, both of Milo, Okla., Aunt Inez Roberts, of Oklahoma City; one brother, Calvin Dean Shannon Sr., of Lawton; her nieces and nephews: Calvin D. Shannon Jr., of Lawton, Reginald D Holland Jr. and his wife Paris P Holland, of Lilburn, Ga., Anneisha M. Coleman and her husband Darnell Coleman, of Lawton; as well as her former husband, Reginald Bradley, of Red Level, Ala.; and numerous great-nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Riva Maxine Shannon, of Milo, Uncle Johnny “Eddie” Abram, of Milo, Uncle C.L. Murray, of Milo; sister, Valerie J. Shannon-Hannah, of Lawton, and her nephew, Calvin Rashard Holland of Lawton.
