Twenty-two grams of methamphetamine were found in the possession of a 23-year-old woman Tuesday morning, according to Ardmore Police Department.
Karlie Clearman was found hunched over the steering wheel of her car that was parked in a driveway in the 200 block of 4th Avenue SW, Ardmore Police Capt. Keith Ingle said.
According to Ingle, she didn’t immediately respond when officers first approached her vehicle. The woman was just unresponsive and not intoxicated at the time.
“She was slumped over her wheel in a driveway that wasn’t hers,” Ingle said. “She didn’t even respond when officers walked up to her car.”
Officers found both one large bag and one small bag filled with meth, Ingle said. The woman was arrested and booked into the Carter County jail.
