A clash between two people at Chevy’s Sports Bar early Sunday morning led to at least three people sustaining minor injuries, according to Ardmore Police Department.

A police report said that “several subjects were assaulted and sustained minor injuries” just after midnight.

What exactly sparked the altercation is currently unknown, said Ardmore Police Capt. Keith Ingle. Several patrons and some employees jumped in trying to break up the fight between the two, which led to the injuries, he said.

A victim and suspect are known to police, but nobody is in custody since police are still trying to gather details on the incident.

Police also believe the fight potentially triggered a retaliatory drive-by shooting in 1st Avenue Street. Bullets entered a house on the block, Ingle said. Nobody was injured.

“One of the people involved in the fight also lived at the house that was shot,” he said. “Everything is still under investigation.”
